#88: Guest Starring TV’s Dave Holmes

We last talked to two young comics, the man behind Adam Carolla, a musical comic, a 34FF pornstar, a real modern lady of comedy, and a dating coach.
Dave Holmes (Twitter) has appeared on Comedy Central, Court TV, VH1, Bravo, BBC and plenty of other television channels. You surely know his work. Perhaps you’re like me — a high school student who enjoyed MTV’s (then-unique) Wanna Be A VJ contest. That’s when I was first introduced to Dave, that contest’s runner-up (he came into second and that lead into five years of VJing and hosting on MTV.)
On this weeks’ Gentlemen’s Club, Dave talks about his voyage from the world of advertising to later being often recognized in grocery stores and taxi cabs.
Next for Dave is a new live comedy show called Mapping the Heavens at the UCB Theatre in Hollywood (I need to get to that) which he puts on along with Rob Delaney. Also, don’t miss A Drink With Dave — his new web series where he chats with amazing people.
